7 INCREDIBLE Uses of Aspirin You’ve Probably Never Heard of (#4 Will Blow Your Mind!)

Aspirin is AWESOME! That’s right, we use aspirin all the time! Ladies and gentlemen, did you know that aspirin has different non-medical uses? The answer is YES and this is mostly due to its powerful ingredient – salicylic acid.

Here are 7 non-medical uses of aspirin:

1. Rejuvenate your skin
How this works – aspirin contains salicylic acid, which works well like a clear-all for skin. Aspirin will help you reduce the swelling, redness and acne by removing oil and dead skin cells that are clogging them. It’s very simple – crush 5 aspirin tablets. Mix the powder with a ¼ cup of water and one teaspoon of honey. Apply it and leave it on your skin for at least 10 minutes before rinsing it off with warm water. You can do this daily, weekly or monthly.

2. Your flowers will last longer
Fresh cut flowers have a tendency to wilt away and they can start to look sad very quickly – we all know that, right? Why – this is probably because they’re producing ethylene gas as they slowly decay. According to the experts, if you add a crushed aspirin to the water they’re in, your flowers will last much longer.

3. Restore hair color
Swimming in a chlorinated pool can have a noticeable effect on your hair coloring if you have light-colored hair. Here’s what you need to do – dissolve six to eight aspirins in a glass of warm water. Rub the solution thoroughly into your hair and leave it for 10-15 minutes.

4. Get rid of pimples
It’s very simple – just crush 3 aspirins and mix them with ½ teaspoon of water. Apply this paste on the pimples. Leave it for 4-5 minutes. Wash it off with soap and water.

5. Treat calluses
Crush 6 aspirins.

Add 1/2 teaspoon of lemon juice and water.

Mix well.

Apply the mixture to the affected areas.

Cover the are with a warm towel and a plastic bag.

Leave it for 10 minutes.

Remove the bag and the towel.

6. Get rid of dandruff
Crush two aspirins into a fine powder. Mix this powder with the normal amount of shampoo you use every time you wash your hair. Leave this aspirin-shampoo mixture on your hair for 2 minutes. Rinse well and wash again with plain shampoo.

7. Insect bites and stings
How to use it – wet your skin and rub an aspirin over the affected area.
